Sun Sea Sand and Sanuk
One of the oldest in Thailand, it was constructed in 1920 during the reign of King Rama VI, and located on Damnoern Kasem Road. An ornate red-and-cream wooden pavilion dominates the low platform and the colonial-style main building.
A favorite getaway for Bangkok residents, Hua Hin is a pretty beachside town. Family friendly and relaxed, it lacks the all-night partying and seedier aspects that make other nearby beach resorts a haven for unsavory characters. Once a small fishing village, it was transformed into a royal resort, and it’s these close links with Thai royalty that ensure Hua Hin won’t become overdeveloped or lose its small-town vibe.
horses go up and down the beach all day, and you can hire from the beach mainly outside Sofitel Resort, or anywhere you see a vacant horse and handler on the beach! The breed used is a smallish pony and you would most likely be escorted by the handler who has to pick up and remove any droppings. After a days ''walking'' it is fun to see the horses being ridden like the clappers, for a bit of excercise, on their way home!
Newly constructed traditional old Thai market and buildings are charming attraction. Anterior wooden structures look like warehouse in the past. Goods sold inside were both new and old styles. Used to be crowded with teenagers taking photos, but now seem faded with time.
Not a true floating market but stalls surrounding a large pond. It's practically the same as a night market but with a time difference and lacking the atmosphere. They're selling the usual stuff for tourists at the usual prices. Some basic places to eat but nothing worthy of a mention. You can buy food and feed the fish or goats. Free entry, should take you an hour to get around.
Located in North Cha-Am Beach Area; Opposite Santorini Amusement Park; These is a gimmick sheep farm for visitor stop and take mobile selfie photo shoot. Horse ride ; Sheep feeding services Also Souvenir dolls to sell. .
Market Village is a nice (and so far biggest) shopping mall in Hua Hin. You can find here a Lotus super market, several banks and retsaurants. Also some fast food stores are here. The athmosphere is more like a market village than a shopping mall. A very pleasant place. Due to the increased tourist numers in Hua Hin in th elast years it gets very crowde.
The palace is set in its own grounds which are nice to walk about but in addition one of the royal princesses has opened up much of the area as an environmental park with pathways and bridges crossing mangroves. There is also a bird hide and many cycle paths. It is 30 bhat to enter the grounds and another 30 to go into the upstairs rooms of the palace.
