I played on 21 June 2008. Although many recent
reviews say that it is not worth to go, but I don't
think so. Conditions for fairway or green are not
perfect, but the course designs are very challenging
especially for back-9 and we can enjoy beautiful sea
view closely from some holes. Now they offer just
500 Bath including caddie fee even in weekend. I
recommend you to use cart, because it's very hilly
in back-9. Anyway, I enjoyed very much.

One of the cheaper courses in Hua Hin. The club
house needs to be significantly improved. The food
was overpriced and not very good. The course itself
was very dry, and fairways gave way too much roll.
The greens were fast but in reasonable condition.
The back nine are far more difficult, and easily one
of the best nines in Thai golf. However take a
hammer to get you tee in the ground!

Very, very bad course. Totally mismanaged, I
understand by a Korean management. Reasons: The
clubhouse is in shambles, (although they intend to
build a spa there????? This must be a joke, right?
The course is not maintained and I understand there
is no qualified superintendent. The greens are
absolutely unreliable and put at various speeds.
Fairways and t-boxes are very very poor. Bunkers do
not have rakes so that balls ofen end up in previous
foot prints (although for some bunkers it does not
matter since they are so bad already). I hope the
owner will kick out the managment team.

Worst course I have seen and played. Hope the
owner will kick out the management team, although
the damage will take long to get over.

This is probably the worst course I have played!
Nothing is maintained, neither the club house, the
t-boxes, the fairways or the greens. Also, no rakes
to rake the bunkers. This course is totally
mismanaged and I hope the owner will decide to
change the management team, since the course would
have more potential. The current management has
already done a lot of damage to the course, so it
will take some years to get this course up and
running again.

Very very bad golf course condition! Don't go
there. Their clubhouse looked like in ruins and was
really filthy. We were nine persons playing at
25/AUG/2006, and they only had 9 guests in the same
day. Don't trust the Korean!

I was there on Thr 20 Apr 2006. This is very bad
course becoz of following; 1. Club house is under
renovation. Very danger to walk thru proshop 2. They
don’t take credit card and they don’t care. Is it
funny that they offer discount for CitiBank card
holder but don’t have the swipe machine? 3. Locker
is very poor & dirty 4. Tee off is very rough 5.
Poor fairway & green. Actually, I should say ugly
green 6. I bought a bottle of water at clubhouse.
They charged me for a glass of ice separately.
Nonsense. Few good things; 1. Caddy were very
friendly & polite. # 93 & 2 2. I was there on Thr
noon, no other player 3. very good layout To
management of the course. Please, if you are not
ready to service, close the course ‘till u do. You
are taking advantage over us. It’s bad for Thai
tourism too. You’ve good layout course, but you run
it very bad. Shame on you.

Played the course with a friend who had read the
discouraging comments below; we found them very
misleading. The course has improved alot from the
1st time I played it. The new Seoul people have paid
more attention to the course. No more carts driving
all over the fairways; the result the fairways are
much better, much greener.

Sure, the club house is tired and the course is
far from manicured, but the layout was very good.
Some very creative holes on the hilly 9. Really
tight in some spots. Exhausting to walk. In Oct.
when I visited, the club was running a special
whereby if you use Visa, green fees were
significantly discounted. Bottom line, if you want a
test of golf and aren't too picky about the
facilities, it is worth a visit.

very bad golf course. The staff is not kind. And
club boss is lier. Price is expensive. Not good
hotel.. I think don't go here more than.

New owners have improved the course maintenence.
Natural setting provides nice setting: mountain
view, sea view, peacocks, sea breezes; but also wind
dries out fairways especially during dry season.
Play during week is fast. Most caddies are very
helpful especially in lining up puts. Use cart for
back nine. If you are going to play 18 consider
playing the back nine first.

Wow this is a tough course!! The design includes
much of the original terrain and natural hazards of
the original site. Strongly urge you rent a cart
(700 B) otherwise the walk between some of the holes
will tire you out. On some holes, the caddies had to
walk up hills to get to the holes cuz the cart
wouldn't carry four of us. It is a tough course if
you are not accurate and lots of places to lose
balls. We really enjoyed the caddies we had and they
were diligent in tracking down misguided balls. The
locker facilities rank right down at the bottom with
World Trade Center course in Bangkok-- the worst in
Thailand in my opinion. I think this is a course
that needs to be played a few times to find out
about all the nuances. Some of the fairways and
greens had a significant tilt to them so you had to
hit right or your ball would roll off into the rough.
The caddys were great at letting us know this info.
After I buy some more balls, would be interested in
playing this one again. The lockers were horrible
and I could not believe they did not have fresh soap
for players! Suggest you plan on driving back to
your hotel for shower after playing.

A fantastically challenge front 9. Imagine you
are hitting the ball into the sea. Strong winds come
in to every shot you are playing. Too bad, it is not
really well maintained.

Great course, the course is very beatufull,
for-9 the most difficul course I ever have played
and if you like water-hasard, you must play this
course.

This has got to be both one of the most
challenging and most poorly maintained courses I've
ever played. Actually, that just goes for the front
9, where accuracy isn't rewarded, its mandatory, and
errant shots can careen off of rock-hard fairways
that have little or no grass to speak of. Definitely
good value for money (very cheap), but be prepared
to lose some balls and perhaps (like I did) your
temper. Back 9 are much easier, if less imaginative,
but still something of a reward for getting through
the front.

A good challenge to moderate and pro-golfer.
Hilly fairway and fantastic green play. For beginner
you might like to walk out from the course right
after first hole. Thanks to my friend that strongly
recommended to have golf card for every
one--otherwise I might walk out too! Poor clubhouse
especially for locker room. Our game was ended up
with great lost on score card! but would back for
revenge it again.
