Bars in and around Hua hin
With more than 50 different bars to choose from you will be spoilt for choice in Hua Hin. Hua Hin nightlife is a milder version of Pattaya or Bangkok. Far more laid back and not so intense, It's a great place to relax and unwind.
What is also great about the Hua Hin nightlife is that the bars are all intergrated, within a small area, which will take around 5-10 minutes to cover. Most soi's (roads) are free from traffic and not too busy whatever season you go. Hua Hin is cleaner with very little crime. So overall a nice place for families groups or honeymoons.
Hua hin Family bars
Mai Tai is a bit more locally oriented watering hole next to Hua Hin Hilton on the tourist district. The price levels are quite the same as in surrounding pubs, but the atmosphere is different. However, don't expect to have any "authentic" Thai experience, but more like of a bit shabby bar, television shouting Thai soap opera or sports, and surprisingly inattentive service. The beer is cold, and they serve some more complex drinks, such as local variant of Irish coffee. The price level is just right, so you could booze the whole night and still have a lot of money left.
There is also Admirals Pub opposite City Beach hotel that re-creates that classic pub atmosphere and a couple of smaller cocktail lounges such as Adrenaline along Naresdamri Road across from the Sofitel.
About the bars in Hua hin
Most of the bars in Soi Bintabaht are the standard beer bar serving Heineken for 65 Baht, Singha/Chang for 50, the going barfine rate in Hua Hin is 200 to 300 Baht. The girls will generally go for between 500 and 1,000 Baht (all night). This can also be discussed if you stay together for a few days. Closing time varies with the moods of the local constabulary and political events, it's usually between 1 and 2a.m. However bars will endeavor to stay open if they are busy. There are a few bars known for their late night tendencies.
A few places in town stand out from the rest; two bars down 'the soi' are U-Turn Bar and Toro Bar. These both have plenty of girls (most nights), pool tables and sports TV. They are also known to stay open a little later than usual. Most of the other bars vary from day to day with their consistency; you'll just have to try your luck! A little off 'the soi' is Octopussy, another better rated bar for its girls and pool tables (although one of the very few bars in Hua Hin that charge for pool). If you're into your sports there's Billy's Bar in the Bazaar area and if you're still thirsty at 3a.m. you can always get a beer in Nice n' Easy. If you want to meet or hang out with the long timers and expats have a beer in Johnnie Walkers.

Situated on Soi Selakam they offer a bar experience to remember catering for everyone. Octopussy Bar:
Octopussy in Hua Hin is by far the best drinking hole in Hua Hin with it's new extention and garden. This bar has, two American pool tables, darts, table football Six Tv,s to keep you up to date with all the sport and news you will ever need. They serve local and imported beers wines and spirits. The cocktail menu has over 100 different. A must if your passing . Located in the centre of Hua Hin on Poolsuk Rd just off Dechanuchit Rd.

Met meer dan 50 verschillende barretjes om uit te kiezen zal voor u de keus in Hua Hin makkelijk zijn. Het nachtleven van Hua hin is een mildere versie van Pattaya of Bangkok. Veel meer ontspannen en niet zo intens, het een geweldige plaats om te ontspannen. Wat ook groot een groot voordeel is van het nachtleven in Hua Hin is dat de barretjes allen binnen een klein gebied geïntegreerd zijn. De meeste soi (wegen) zijn vrij van verkeer welk seizoen u ook gaat. Hua Hin is schoon en zeer weinig misdaad. Eigenlijk een aardige vakantie plaats voor families of huwelijksreizen. MAI Tai is een beetje meer plaatselijk georiënteerd naast Hua Hin Hilton in het toeristendistrict. De prijsniveaus zijn vrijwel het zelfde als in de andere pubs, maar de atmosfeer is verschillend. Nochtans, verwacht geen „authentieke“ Thaise ervaring te krijgen, maar meer een beetje sjofele bar, televisie staan aan met Thaise soaps of sport, en de verrassend onoplettende bediening. Het bier is koud, en er worden wat meer complexe dranken geschonken, zoals de lokale variant van Ierse koffie. Op het prijsniveau is niks an te merken, zodat u de gehele nacht kunt drinken en uiteindelijk toch nog wat geld over heeft aan het einde van de nacht. Er is ook nog de Admiraals pub tegenover het city beach hotel. dat de klassieke pub atmosfeer uitstraalt en omgeven is door wat kleinere cocktail lounges zoals Adrenaline langs Road Naresdamri tegenover het Sofitel.
Over de bars in Hua hin
Het merendeel van de bars zijn gesitueerd in Soi Bintabaht en zijn de standaard bars waar Heineken bier voor 65 Baht te koop is en
Singha / Chang voor 50, het barfine tarief in Hua Hin ligt ongeveer op 200 tot 300 Baht.
De meisjes zullen over het algemeen met u meegaan voor bedragen tussen de 500 en 1000 Baht (de hele nacht).
Dit bedrag kan worden besproken als u van plan bent om meerdere dagen met een meisje te verbljven.
Sluitingstijden varieren met de stemmingen van de lokale constabulary en politieke gebeurtenissen, het is meestal tussen de 1 en 2a.m.
Maar bars zullen meestal proberen open te blijven als ze bezig zijn.
Er zijn een paar bars bekend die zich onderscheiden van de rest en voor hun nachtelijke levendigheid de U-Turn Bar en Toro Bar.
Deze hebben beiden veel van de meisjes (de meeste nachten), biljarttafels en sport TV.
Ze zijn ook bekend om hun openingstijden een beetje later dan normaal.
Een beetje buiten het uitgaansgebied ligt de bar Octopussy, een bekende bar voor de meisjes en biljarttafels
(hoewel een van de weinige cafes in Hua Hin dat kosten in rekening brengt voor het pool biljart.
Als u in bent voor een sport bar dan is er Billy's Bar in het night Bazaar gebied. Als u nog dorst heeft na 3a.m. kunt u altijd een biertje drinken in Nice n 'Easy.

Die meisten Bars sind in der Soi Bintabaht. Ein Bier kostet etwa 70 bath. Hier ticken die Uhren wesentlich langsamer als in Bangkok oder Pattaya. Die Bar-fine liegt bei 200-300 bath (die Hälfte der grossen Touristenzentren - aber auch wesentlich weniger Auswahl und Action. Die Bars schliessen eher nach Laune der Behörden - aber normal so um 1-2 Uhr morgens. Man lässt auch mal länger geöffnet, wenn genug los ist. Einige wenige Bars sind bekannt für ihr Nachtleben.
Der kleine Unterschied:
Einige wenige Plätze machen hier die Ausnahmen: 2 Bars am 'the soi' sind die U-Turn Bar und die Toro Bar. Hier gibt es jede Menge Girls (meistens), Pool-Tische und Sport-TV. Die beiden Bars sind auch länger geöffnet. In den meisten anderen Bars geht es heute so - morgen so zu - je nach Glück ist was los oder auch nicht.
Etwas weiter weg ist das 'Octopussy' eine etwas bessere Bar mit Girls und Pool-Tischen.
Dann gibt es noch die Billy's Bar in der Bazaar-Gegend.
Und wenn du um 3 Uhr immer noch Durst hast, kannst du immer ein Bier im Sam-Sam haben.
